Twice Blessed

So, funny!! I think my BFF and I have ESP. I called my friend Stephanie
this morning. A Estate sale that was listed on Craigslist seemed exciting.A vision of a big house with lots of vintage came to mind. She was thinking the same thing! So, away we went with lots of hope it was going to be fantastic. Ok, but not what we imagined. Driving around New Paltz, NY. I remembered Twice Blessed Thriftshop close by.Us Gals get around you know!! Yes, I brought my camera. The day ended with lunch, dollar store and great laughs. Thanks Friend! Had a great time as always.

Black Creek

Hello!! Welcome to Black Creek. Last week on my way to work, I saw a Mother duck and her ducklings waddling on the road. Getting ready for a morning swim. So cute! Of course, I forgot my camera.Darn!! So, after work I went to Black Creek. So calm and peaceful. Birds chirping, water trickling, no ducks! But, it did bring back memories. My Husb. would take the kids fishing to the Creek. I could hear him say,
" Who wants to go fishing?" and the kids would reply, " Me, Me!!" So, to make a long story short. I didn't see the ducks again. By now, they must be huge.I learned my lesson. To keep the camera close by.You never know when there will be a Kodak moment! Say cheese!!

Tea Time

Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!I picked this up at a
garage sale over the weekend for $3.00 dollars. It's missing the sugar, but I thought it was a cutie.I also purchased a brand new Hunter ceiling fan for $7.00 never used.
You never know what treasure you will find at garage sales. I just love garage sales. Don't you? What's your favorite bargain you have found at a garage sale?
