Sun Tea

I remember the days when my Mom would make Sun Tea on a hot Summer day. So easy and refreshing. Here's her Recipe.

Sun Tea

4-6 Tea Bags
1 1-2 quarts cold water
Sun!! Lots

In a 2 quart glass jar combine tea bags and cold water. Let stand in full sun about 3 hrs. until you see desired strength, brown color. Mom would use Black Tea. I guess you could use Green Tea also. Serve over ice. Enjoy, the highlights of Summer! Don't forget some lemon and sweetener if you wish. Mine is brewing as we speak...... Hugs, Liz

Geese Sightings!

You know you live in a rural area when, you see a " Geese Crossing." Too funny to watch them as I leave work. Stopping traffic as they cross Rt. 299, a major rd. in the area. I visioned the Beatles as they crossed Abby Rd? Am I right? As I'm taking a photo, I forgot to watch where I'm walking. Yes, Poop everywhere. Waddling bye as if they know I'm up to no good.Or wishing I would step in some, so I would get the heck away from them! Lady luck was on my side. I didn't get bit nor, step in the you know what. Here are my new fine feathered friends! The new kids on the block. Have a great week. Hugs, Liz

Oak Kitchen Table

Happy Sunday! Hope you are relaxing a bit. I took a pic of my kitchen table. Claudia, over at Mockingbird Hill Cottage is thinking of painting hers. While reading her entry( July 13th.) Just a thought in the back of my mind. Finally, my eye is alittle better. Back to the eye Dr. on the 22nd.Claudia, here is a pic of my kitchen table. It came all the way from Florida! Weathered and abit worn also. What do you think? Hugs ,Liz
