Romantic Homes Inquiry::

                          Yesterday, Romantic Homes Magazine asked Viewers what they Collected? In response, LizlovesVintage said, " I collect Vintage Jewelery, linen, ironstone and books."
                           Then, I made this statement. " I know it seems much."
                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
                           Lots of Vintageness .... My new word. Is there a definition for Vintageness in Webster's Dictionary?                                                                                                                                                                                        

                          Then, later in the evening.  It dawned on me......
                  I don't even know what my Viewers Collect?
                 
       Yeah, I know. I collect more than listed above. Add hats, bottles, post cards, milk glass, trinket boxes, ribbon, glass ornaments, doilies, ephemera. I think I touched base on everything. I'll get back to you.

               Now, I'm dying to know. What do you collect? Are you a true Collector or just getting started?

Thrifting::





            Isn't it ideal.  I found it over the weekend at the Salvation Army thrift shop. A beautiful silver and cut crystal trinket box. If my Daughter reads this post, I 'll be getting a phone call. We started collecting Vintage  trinket boxes together. It just came to be. One thing led to another and you know a Collection is BORN. So, when I'm out and about trinket boxes call my name. " Liz"  over here....
          Not sure if I want to polish it yet. I kind of like the tarnished look.
          On  a different note..
   I'm changing the subject. I went see Elton John perform  in concert last night, at Madison Square Garden  in NYC .Oh, did he ever put on a show. I haven't been to a concert in ages. Special guests were, Leon Russell and Gregg Allman. That was an evening I will never forget. So, my weekend was jammed packed full of goodness. Hope you had a good one too!
