Happy Mother's Day::

                    There is nothing like a Mother's love for her children. To comfort and nurture a child throughout those growing years. Memories of motherhood, make it all worthwhile. If you are a Mom, have a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow.
I think everyday should be Mom's day. Don't you?
                                                                      Hugs and Kisses,
                                                                                 Liz

A Pocket Full Of Posy::

                               A Pocket and a Spatula.... The makings of a Bridal Shower Gift for a Co-Worker. We all pitched in for the bigger gift. Then, we decided to add some kitchen gadgets from the Dollar Store. Not me. I purchased the silver Spatula from the Flea. So, elegant. I wish you could see it. It was a difficult decision when purchasing it from the Vendor. She had so many beautiful items to choose from. The Spatula won, hands down.
Then, I wrapped the spatula in tissue paper. Tucked it inside a Vintage pocket that I cut with scissors. Yes, a pants pocket. Added some old lace and trim. Easy! Who needs the Dollar Store. I hope the Bride to Be likes it. I'm looking through some old recipe cards for Lasagna to attach or a Vintage photo of a Bride and Groom. I like unconventional gifts, don't you?
                                                                    Hugs,
                                                                     Liz

Sunday Morning scenes from the Elephant Trunk Flea in Connecticut.Oh yes, the shopping cart came along too. It was opening day at the Flea. The weather was glorious. I even got alittle sun burn. The Hubbs couldn't have been any happier. He found a tool that was on his list. For me, my list included a bridal shower gift that I purchased. The Bride will be getting a Vintage gift from me. I will show and share my idea soon. Did you make it to the Flea also this weekend? It's great to take advantage of the warmer weather these days since, we have had so very few :(
Have a great week!
