The kids take turns finding the verse and reading then they run and get a treat from their stocking that I hide in there each day. When my Mother completed the pudding, she always served it in a beautiful bowl on a pedastal. I am thankful that I learned her recipe and am able to continue to serve this tasty tradition each Christmas. I have never missed a Christmas making this pudding and I also have the same bowl to serve it in to my family! We do little things like bring the trash can in for a neighbor, give christmas cards to strangers, help someone bring their groceries to their car, little random acts of kindness. The kids are loving it.
But an ongoing tradition, I always make a sausage bread for Christmas morning breakfast and we love to watch A Christmas Story nonstop marathon. It's super fun. We even turn it into a game. Like each time we see a certain character, we do or say something funny. Or we eat a marshmallow. Just simple little silly things that make the holiday more memorable than the last. And we always try a new baked goodie recipe each year to share with our family, friends and neighbors.
jenniferdannielle@comcast.netAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16708706761415904578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2211331461118926328.post-40568002488016101502011-12-08T09:38:37.126-05:002011-12-08T09:38:37.126-05:00My 3 children and I always make a gingerbread hous...My 3 children and I always make a gingerbread house filled with tons of candy.
