Friends Are Forever
I just thought this Vintage postcard sums up my thoughts for today. Friends!!!
I have meet so many fabulous people, thus far while blogging. I just wanted in some way to acknowledge them and their constant inspiration. In a discussion awhile back to a Friend about the Internet and my new love, " BLOGGING". Her thoughts exactly were about people becoming more isolated in their homes on the computer. Not getting out and about, socializing with friends. Me!! not a social butterfly? Well, I disagree totally. I'm here loving every minute and want to thank all of you!! Cheers to my new Friends. You guys are so amazing, talented, and are certainly a pleasure to talk to!! Without you, this blog would not be possible. I don't feel isolated. I feel like I'm right where I belong. Here......
Thanks again for the beginnings of a new Friendship!!
Sincerely,
Liz from LizlovesVintage

Farmers' Market
yum!
I like the netting idea!
Even though we have been having a heat wave, I needed to go to the Farmers'
Market today. I enjoy seeing what the Farmers have to sell or what new varieties they have to offer. I saw a bumper sticker last week that said," NO FARMS NO FOOD!"
So true. Buy local this summer. Please support family farms in your area!

My Daughter's dog found a nest of birds, under my deck!I didn't Even know they were there. There was an existing nest there already from previous birds. Frankly, I was going to remove it for decor. Glad the Mama decided to Recycle it! Mother nature is cool isn't she.I wish I could charge them rent. Ha,Ha!

Treasures and Trinkets
Passing some Farms along the way..
I've been searching so long for a Milk Glass Pitcher and Glass Set. Finally, on Saturday I found one.Along with a old lamp, 3 tier wire baskets, a Victorian trinket
box, lamp shade, felt bag, old picture, and some lace. I have a project in mind for the wide lace. Details to follow,as I need more supplies.I love it when I hit the jackpot at yard sales. A Saturday drive in the countryside. A bright sunny day. No plans, just a Woman on a mission.Oh yes, can't forget Hubby tagged along! One more vaca day. Ugh!! How I hate that! Have a great Monday. Hugs, Liz
