Rhinebeck, Lunch and Vintage::

       Browsing at the Beekman Arms antique market located behind the Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck, NY. Yes, incase you are wondering. Rhinebeck is the town where Chelsea Clinton was married. 

                              That's the end of my little tour.I hope you had a wonderful day too. Before I go, it's Hudson Valley restaurant week if you live in the valley. Lots of great deals if you want to give yourself a treat :)

Smile ::

         By now.. it's almost Friday.
            My work week has been on overdrive. With that, my brain has been thinking alot about different topics other, then vintage. This is why I write my blog.... to keep the sanity. It's like being on a little mini vacation. A place where I can escape for awhile. Dream, inspire and take a break. I hope my blog does just that. Puts a smile on your face and takes you on a brief getaway for a moment if not two.
       Times are tough for many of us out there.I know it will get better in time. Keep your chin up!
Next week will be a better week. Next month.. will be a better month. You'll see. After all, Spring is right around the corner.

The Vintage Home::

                
               Hi there, I just got home from work. I'm brewing up some coffee and realized, I've been missing all my blogging buddies!
I've been busy working on my Etsy shop. Have you ever been? My new focus is the Vintage Home. A concept that I've been thinking about for awhile now. Sorry to all you folks that thought I was leading in the Vintage clothing route. It's not the direction I was heading for. Anyway, more stuff to work on. I'm almost there, I think ;)
            I just sold this Mirro-Matic electric percolator in my shop. Remember these? I love the art deco styling on these makers and the fact that it's made in the good old USA. That makes me love it even more. Sad, to see it go! I was considering in keeping it for myself. That seems to happen frequently. I purchase some new stuff and then, I'm second guessing myself. Especially, when it comes to the V word :) Who me? Couldn't be..
