May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain
tea besides the fire,
laughter to cheer you,
those you love near you,
and all your heart might desire.
- Irish blessing
Hope your day is filled with fun. I'll be cooking at home an Irish meal for my family. The menu: Corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes and soda bread a must. The crock pot is ready to go.. Do you celebrate St. Pat's Day too? Have a wonderful weekend whatever your plans may be.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you Liz. Your meal sounds wonderful. Hope your day is a special one. Love the vintage postcard.

Happy St. Pat's Day, Liz! I also throw carrots and onions into the pot. Tomorrow, we celebrate our Irish heritage!
ReplyDeleteThe Irish blessing is wonderful. I am Irish on my mom's side but we do not celebrate St. Patrick's day here. I always focus on Easter during this time.
ReplyDeleteI cooked our dinner last week when everyone could be together...but we enjoyed home made corned beef hash for breakfast yesterday morning!
ReplyDeleteEverything sounds so yummy :-) Hope you had a wonderful St. Party's Day.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
