I photographed some barns around the Hudson Valley. I don't know what atracts me to them, but I guess it's the story they have to tell. Or maybe, just pure Americana. Weathered with age, they are all unique.Thinking finally, I just become a country girl.

I love the weathered wood on barns. And if they are abandoned then they have an added attraction to me. Beautiful photos.
Great barn photos, Liz...I just love old barns...
Great photos!! I too love the look of old barns...don't know what the attraction is for me either but I do. LOVE your photos!!!
you truly have a great eye for rustic beauty...love love how wonderfully regal and lonely these barns appear....

I am an old barn lover, also. They just intrigue me! And I have always wanted to live in one. Love your photos. 8>)
I love barns too! My Aunt and Uncle lived on an old dairy farm in Eastern Washington when I was growing up. I spent many wonderful hours exploring their many barns, milking the cows, jumping out of the hay loft, swinging from a rope swing, discovering a nest of barn cat kittens, and on and on. Beautiful share!
