Fanciful Tins::

My Collection of tins
It dawned on me this afternoon, my Collection of tins were  fanciful. I'm sure in their hay day,  they put  many smiles on many faces. As candies or cookies were given as tokens of appreciation. Even, the Royal Family portrait charmed us on a tin of toffee.

Those are all lovely tins but the green one with the couple on it is definitely my favorite! Wouldn't it be nice if they still sold cookies and chocolates in these? I have an old chocolate tin with cherubs on it and I love it:)

Charming! I think I have one very similar to the little one on the bottom left...and I know I have a Queen Elizabeth one somewhere! Isn't it grand that once the sweets are gone...there is still something sweet to savor...a lovely tin!

I have a weakness for fanciful tins too. I can't remember where I saw it, but I saw a craft studio with hundreds of tins lining the shelves. It was really quite beautiful. You have a nice collection of tins.
