A Pocket Full Of Posy::

                               A Pocket and a Spatula.... The makings of a Bridal Shower Gift for a Co-Worker. We all pitched in for the bigger gift. Then, we decided to add some kitchen gadgets from the Dollar Store. Not me. I purchased the silver Spatula from the Flea. So, elegant. I wish you could see it. It was a difficult decision when purchasing it from the Vendor. She had so many beautiful items to choose from. The Spatula won, hands down.
Then, I wrapped the spatula in tissue paper. Tucked it inside a Vintage pocket that I cut with scissors. Yes, a pants pocket. Added some old lace and trim. Easy! Who needs the Dollar Store. I hope the Bride to Be likes it. I'm looking through some old recipe cards for Lasagna to attach or a Vintage photo of a Bride and Groom. I like unconventional gifts, don't you?
                                                                    Hugs,
                                                                     Liz

Oh Liz....I love this idea and you gave me a fabulous idea too. I will never again throw out old jeans without cutting the pockets off first. :) They would be so cute used as flatware holders, small gifts, flowers,....so many ways to use them. Thank you
