A New Season::

Is officially here.... and what's not to LOVE about it!
The beach, ice cream, vacation, sandals, barbeque's, homegrown veggies, sea shells, picnics, The Farmer's market, snap dragons, ice tea, salads, a pedicure, hiking, a cool breeze, lobster, sun dresses, peaches, ice coffee, The flea, sitting on my deck, driving with my sunroof open, lightning bugs, long walks in the morning, fruit salad, star gazing, visiting Friends, and so on.... and so on.....
I'm so glad Summer is here. So, short a season to enjoy.
What's your favorite thing about Summer?
    You know what my faves are!
                                                             Have a great week.

Hi Elizabeth! I agree with everything on your list of summer favorites! I enjoy long sunny days of "playing in the dirt" and then watching the colorful flowers and plants in my garden bloom and grow. I love long bike rides on converted rail trails and canoeing on lakes and rivers. And let's not forget grilling almost anything, but especially fresh vegetables from the farmers market.

One of my favorite things about summer is not feeling guilting about not doing anything!

I love the spell of the great outdoors and the laughter of children playing in the neighborhood park. I love your ice cream scoops too. They remind me of orange sherbet with my grandmother in the summer.
