the front stoop::

  When, I was growing up my favorite pastime was playing barbie dolls with my friend, Barbara on the front stoop. Hours and hours of dramatic play. It seemed to go on forever or until one of us had to go inside for dinner. Those were fun times on the stoop... Time sure does fly.
 So, when the holiday's rolled around I wanted to add some decor to the front of my house. Yes, I have a front stoop. At times, I wish I had a porch with chairs and rockers wouldn't that be nice? Just dreaming... Do you have a front porch or a stoop? Do they even call it a stoop anymore? A landing? Hum? Not sure?
 In, came decorating for the Holiday's. The extra tree cuttings came in handy and so did this galvanized pail that I took from my Hubby. I guess it was OK, he didn't say anything. When it comes to decorating, I think they don't even care. Am I right?
 Anyway, as of today I'll be cooking for Christmas eve and baking for Christmas Day. I'm looking forward to spending time with my Family and extra time off from pre-school. Yay!
Let's see anything else? I wish I had a funny joke to tell.. maybe next time.
        I hope all is well. Please send some sunshine my way..:)

                                                        Take care,
                                                         xoxo Liz

My husband has said that he doesn't even notice what I do decorating wise until her sees it posted on my blog :) I hadn't heard the word stoop forever, but we had a stoop at the house I grew up in.
