peonies have arrived::

The peonies are spectacular right now, even in fuchsia. I'm happy to say this one's from my home but, just by luck. I'm no gardener.. I just cross my fingers and leave the rest to the almighty. Funny, how sometimes things all work out  without much work involved. Let's say in my next life... I want to be a Gardener. Really, I do. Hey, at least I get some points for trying. I think sometimes I try a little bit to hard. Enjoy your Summer gardening and your weekend. xo Liz

I love peonies! Mine are on their third year in the garden and I am happy to say I have lots of buds. Hoping they open before our vacation in 2 weeks. Thanks for sharing, yours are gorgeous Liz.

I adore peonies! The scent and fragile, sweet quality of each blossom.....charm full on!

My peonies are just about to open. Both bushes were here when we move in. You don't have to be a gardener to have pretty peonies - in fact, I think they do better when left alone!

Hi Claudia,
This is the first year my peonies look wonderful. I don't know what it is here.. soil? Nothing does well besides the fact that I kill everything. I'm a flower lover and I know you are too. You're right about the peonies they are hardy and you can just let them be.Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you at Country Living!
