Adorned with a ribbon, a leftover from Christmas wrapping. It sits on the hutch.
I rescued it from the Flea. The handle was the selling point. Perfection!
So, do you like yours polished or tarnished?
I hope you have a great day. Rainy and damp here. Any plans for the New Year? None here...
I think Home, sounds good to me :)

I'm a tarnished girl. Although if I am using it for food I'll clean it up. And no I am not ready to chuck all my Christmas stuff yet. I normally keep it up until New Year's Day.
I can see why you are in love with your gravy boat...I actually like my silver both ways! Love your arrangement with the soft colors of the ribbon and ornaments. I must confess in past years I have been known to keep Christmas around to just before Valentine's Day. Not so this year...so she says! :)
I agree I am not ready to put away all my pretties either. I will put a few away
I have loved tarnished silver UNTIL I cleaned my ladels for use Thanksgiving and now I love my cleaned silver It made sucjh a big difference so now I like my silver cleaned however it would take an entire day to clean it all
Happy New Year
Happy happy New Year Liz. (we capture our best shots at any time don't we??...the bird.... LOL) I like to leave some of the dark tarnish on my silver pieces in the nooks and crannies but shine up the rest of it. Some of my old silver plate has worn down and will never shine again but that's okay. :)
I guess it depends on what it is. If it is jewelry, not so tarnished. I don't mind a little tarnish on some of my old silverplate. Your pretties look perfect just the way they are.
