Here's some behind the scenes photographs of the festival and surrounding area with it's beautiful countryside.Some inside tips for next year: get there early, no worries about parking a shuttle bus is available to and from event, wear comfy shoes, bring a camera, water and a snack. Plenty of vendors and artisans to see so bring cash. Many thanks to Ben Ashby: Editor In Chief of Folk Mag. Make Sharon Springs your destination next year! xo Liz

Giveaway Winner::

           Hi, how is everyone?  I just stopped by to announce the winner of the Folk magazine Giveaway.
           Congratulations to Cheri, you won :)
           Please email me your information so, I can forward it to Ben at Folk magazine.
           I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Sorting through finds from Sunday's flea. Thanks to my Hubby for finding the blue ball jars. They were buried in a box mixed with clear colored jars. From a distance he showed me a clear ball jar and I shook my head No! Then with a serious face he said, " Yes! " A woman from a distance started to yell to her significant other and said, " He's taking them.. he's taking them." Yeah, he did alright LOL. Oh, and if she's reading this post. Next time grab the darn box.. and run. LOL!
Have a wonderful Thursday.

Folk Magazine Review and Giveaway::

      The buzz around the net these days is Folk magazine. If you haven't heard about this one of a kind lifestyle mags you are in for a real treat. Here's my thoughts.
      Recently, I had the pleasure of previewing the completed Summer 2012 issue from front to back in it's entirety. Folk's concept focuses on sharing the American story. It's like a freshly baked apple pie right out of the oven. From cover to cover it's full with inspiration. Nothing, but great eye candy for the soul and informative dialogue. Most of all, it's unique layout for me was a plus. I enjoy opening a magazine and saying to myself, " I want to look at that magazine again." That's just what I did. Well, that doesn't happen too often.
     In fact, Folk magazine is committed to supporting small business throughout the US. With features and interviews with American businesses, artisans and entrepreneurs. That's what impresses me most. A homegrown magazine all about people and getting the word out about their products is a great thing. I just admire all that support that Folk magazine has to share with it's readers.
    Folk magazine indeed is my favorite new magazine. I'm sure it will be your new favorite read too :)
