My Mom taught me all about cooking. Even before I was married, I was cooking pork chops and over cooking brownies. This became a joke in my household every time I would bake. It stuck! So when I bake, my Hubby tells the story of the rock hard treats I would bake for him. I think I've gotten better over the years with help from Mom. After, I was married. I would call Mom frequently for cooking times and recipes. It to became my favorite cooking tool.
As years passed and My Mom moved. She gave me the cookbook. Yeah, I know it's outdated. But, in the kitchen I would be lost without it.
