colors of september::

September, known as the barley month has arrived in the valley. Leaves have started to fall and acorns are plentiful for our little fury friends. Locally, workers are getting those hay bails ready while, roadside stands gather what's in season on the farm. What's not to like about September..time to get ready for fall. Above photos taken: FDR home in Hyde Park, NY and Wheatley Farms located in Standfordville,  NY. I love all the colors that represent this month. Don't you?
In my neck of the woods where apple orchards are abundant, it's apple picking time in the country. Above image: Liberty Orchards.You can find photos like this one under the vintage collective corner in the recent issue of Gatherings Magazine 2013 Fall-Rustic Romance. Once again, I'm proud to be a part of this creative community of kindred spirits. This issue you'll love and want to share with your friends and family. Want to win a copy? Please join us in the festivities by participating in a Giveaway. Stop by the Gatherings Mag Blog for rules that apply. Good Luck, I hope you Win!
On that note, enjoy your neighborhood in this beautiful month leading to Fall. See you all soon- Liz
