edit and update::

Spent part of the day editing and updating my social media accounts eg: twitter, fb, flickr, blogger and so on. All updated so I can check it off my list! Now, for the record my "Lizlovesvintage" FB page is no longer available for view. Thank you for following me on an incredible journey, as I transition to Elizabeth Hanley Photography. I've meet so many wonderful people on the sidelines. Easing my way into the second phase of this creative life. You guys rock! Best Elizabeth

nordic:: white:: ironstone

 When, I heard that Nordic and white was the theme of Gatherings Magazines Winter 2013 issue my mind took me in so many directions. Being a lover of white and pale palettes myself, the journey of finding whites in my home was a instant match. Here are some of my images that didn't make the cut in the "White" issue. I'm once again pleased to announce that I'm a Contributor in this issue among other talented artists, photographers and bloggers. I can't wait to show you the finished issue it's beyond beautiful! Do you love whites? I confess.. I do too. Have an amazing week!

country roads, yard sales and crates::

Yard sale season is here... love it. Just in time for me to update my etsy shop with some more goodies since, my shelves are rather empty these days.
Today was a perfect day to get out and about and see some countryside, meet a chicken or two and stop at a roadside stand and grab a treat. One of the few things I like to do is support the locals on my adventures.
Do you like yard sales too? I didn't buy the chairs above since, they needed some work involved. I did pass.. hard decision because the green chair was calling me, lol! I hate when that happens don't you? But, I did find some crates.. and lots of them for my little etsy shop.
Stay tuned for my Grand Re-Opening coming soon! Stop by my Facebook page for more details or stay connected right here on Lizlovesvintage blogspot.
See you all very soon. I think tomorrow will be a great day to sleep in ;)

It Wasn't A April Fools Joke::

        I've been working on a new blog banner. If you arrived here yesterday, this is what you saw.
        Today, I worked on the final blog banner. Funny how they are so, different.

      OK, which one do you like? Eeeny, Meany...I can't decide.
       Hope you are having a fantastic week.

Hostess With The Mostess Event::

         For those who couldn't attend yesterday's event at HiHoHome in Gardiner, NY. Here is my vintage buffet set up using lots of white.
                Here's an idea using a vintage train case. Fill it up with your favorite liquors, glasses, lemon wedges, limes, linens, swizzle sticks. Easy for a picnic or buffet. My make shift bar will be sure to please. Cheers!
                            Bring the outside in. Sure enough, that's exactly what I did using this bird feeder. Added, some glasses and there you go.
                         On a budget? I used dried hydrangeas that I had on hand. Simple, yet still lovely.
                                   Kudos, to Heidi at HiHoHome Market.
                             We are all Hostesses with the Mostesses :)
                                                  Have a great Sunday!
                                                 Thanks for stopping by,
